The Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE or FCE) is an objective assessment of a person’s ability to perform a physical task.

Training and Education

Stone Road Physiotherapy  provides full training courses designed to meet and exceed any legislative requirements, leading to staff certification in each area.

Retirement Care

With the introduction of Bill C-21 great strain has been placed on Retirement Homes to provide similar care standards found in the Long Term Care environment.

Massage therapy promotes a sense of relaxation and renewed energy as well as treating a wide range of ailments.

FUNDING

Patients often assume that all services are publicly funded in Ontario. While it is true that the essential services are publicly funded, others are not. Stone Road Physiotherapy  will assist you to determine all your available coverage and funding options available through insurance, OHIP and Government programs rather than paying “out of pocket”.

O H I P

Funding options available under OHIP have changed, the new funding introduced in April 2013, provides for Episodes of Care, which is only available to seniors 65+, those 19 and under, people on ODSP or OW.  Patients must be referred by a medical doctor.
